PROSPECTS OF LEGAL CLINICAL AND DUAL EDUCATION

Abstract

This article examines the role and prospects of legal clinics and dual education in the modernization of legal education. Particular attention is paid to the integration of education, research and legal practice in the context of digital transformation. Legal clinics are considered an effective mechanism for developing students’ practical skills, providing free legal assistance to the population and improving legal awareness in society. Dual education is analyzed as a model that combines theoretical studies at universities with practical training in courts, law enforcement bodies, law firms and other legal institutions. The study substantiates that the integration of clinical and dual legal education can improve the quality of legal education and develop the professional competencies of future lawyers.

The article also extensively covers issues of developing the professional competencies of future lawyers through the implementation of legal clinics and dual education, strengthening the inseparable link between theory and practice, and forming an innovative educational environment based on digital technologies. According to the research results, legal clinics serve as an effective pedagogical mechanism for preparing students to work in real legal situations, alongside satisfying the population's need for legal protection. It is substantiated that the dual education system serves to enhance the professional training of students by involving them in practical activities in the courts, the legal profession, state bodies, and other law enforcement institutions. In conclusion, it is emphasized that the harmonization of legal clinical and dual education is one of the important factors in improving the quality of modern legal education, training qualified personnel, and strengthening legal state institutions.
